Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions are in place to ensure the safety, welfare, and responsibility of all clients and dogs attending Paws-A-Minute sessions. By booking and making payment for any service, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Liability
Paws-A-Minute cannot accept responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage to any person, dog, or property during training sessions or events.
2. Responsibility in Public Spaces
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs when training takes place in public areas.
3. Dog Control
Dogs must remain under control at all times. When in public areas, dogs must remain on lead unless the trainer specifically instructs otherwise.
4. Owner Responsibility
Your trainer is there to guide and support you; however, owners remain fully responsible for their dog at all times during training sessions and events.
5. Children at Sessions
Children are welcome to attend 1:1 training sessions and Social Saturday. For safety and consistency, children under the age of 16 must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. Parents are encouraged to speak with their children beforehand to explain the importance of listening during sessions.
6. Dog Health Requirements
When training in public areas, all dogs must be:
• Fully wormed
• Up to date with vaccinations
• Have received a recent health check from a veterinarian
7. Health Conditions
Any health issues must be disclosed at the time of booking. If a health condition may affect training, a veterinary referral may be required before training with Paws-A-Minute can begin.
8. Bite History
Any history of biting or aggression must be declared at the time of booking.
9. Payment
Full payment for Social Saturday and 1:1 training sessions is required at the time of booking in order to secure your place. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.
10. Cancellations
If you cancel your session, the full session fee will be forfeited unless Paws-A-Minute decides otherwise. No refunds will be issued once a session package has begun.
11. Rescheduling
Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 3 days’ notice at no additional cost. When rescheduling, a new date must be confirmed at that time; otherwise, the session will be treated as a cancellation.
Rescheduling a session for a second time may result in the loss of the session fee and you may be required to book a new session.
12. Trainer Cancellations
Paws-A-Minute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any appointment with at least 3 days’ notice where possible.
13. Failure to Pay
Failure to make payment within 30 days of the due date may result in further action, and any associated recovery costs may be passed on to the client.
14. Training Hours
Training sessions are available between 10:00am and 6:00pm.
15. Client Suitability
Paws-A-Minute reserves the right to choose the clients it works with. We aim to work with owners who are committed to achieving the best possible results for themselves and their dogs.
