Social Saturday and 121 Training sessions Terms and Conditions
These T&C’s are for the interest of safety, responsibility and welfare of our clients. Please note payment for service also implies full agreement with these Terms and Conditions.

Paws-A-Minute cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury, or damage to a person, dog, or property.

Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs when in public spaces.

Dogs must be under control and on a lead in public areas and off lead only when specifically instructed to by the trainer.

Your trainer is there to help however, owners remain responsible for their dog at all times.

Children are welcome to attend training sessions and social Saturday but for safety and consistency in training children under the age of 16 must remain under adult parent/ guardian supervision. Parents may wish to speak with their children prior to sessions/ Social Saturday to explain how important it is to listen when involved in the session.

When training in public areas all dogs must be fully wormed and protected by vaccines and had a full health check by a vet.

Any health problems must be stated at the time of booking and if likely to effect training we must receive a vet referral before commencing training with Paws-A-Minute.

All bite history must be declared at the time of booking.

Full payment for Social Saturday is due 48hrs before the Class date. This is non-refundable under all circumstances unless Paws-A-Minute decides otherwise.

Deposits are required at the time of booking – all deposits are non-refundable subject to clause 12. Deposits can be paid via bank transfer. The remainder of the session payment is due on the day of the session this can be made via Bank Transfer or in cash.

Cancellation of sessions results in loss of full session cost unless Paws-A-Minute decides otherwise. No refunds will be given once session packages have begun. The remainder of the payment must be paid at the time of cancelation via bank transfer.

Rescheduling of sessions can be made with a minimum of 3 days' notice at no extra cost. You must rebook future dates at this time otherwise it will count as a cancellation. Rescheduling your session for a second time will result in loss of deposit and you will have to rebook a separate session.

Paws-A-Minute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any appointment with 3 days' notice.

COVID - if you or anyone in your household has any symptoms please inform us immediately. Please take a lateral flow test, if negative your sessions can go ahead.

Rescheduling due to COVID - if you test positive and need to reschedule with less than three days notice you will be charged a £30 cancellation fee to be paid at time of rescheduling.

If Paws-A-Minute test positive to COVID we will reschedule your sessions to the next available dates that suit you. Deposit remains non-refundable.

Failure to pay - If payment is not made no more than 30 days from due date then we will take further action to which you may endure costs.
All sessions run between 10am and 6pm.
Paws-A-Minute reserve the right to choose the clients it works with. We only work with clients that want to achieve the best results possible for both themselves and their dog. For this reason, clients must be open to the use of both positive and negative reinforcement. Every dog is different and therefore the use of different tools may be needed, this includes the use of slip leads, figure of 8, harnesses, flat collar, prong collar, longline, ecollar, dog backpack, crate, dog bed.

Dog Walking With Paws-A-Minute Terms and Conditions

1. The Client is responsible and will ensure that their dog is up-to-date with their vaccinations, flea and tick treatments and de-wormer treatments.

2.The Client accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused by their dog whilst being walked.
​
3. Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services is not held accountable for vet fees or third party claims whilst your dog is in our care.

4. Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services reserve the right to choose our clients and can turn down bookings if we see necessary.

5. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Client to ensure that Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services is fully aware of any health issues that your pet is experiencing, or has suffered in the past. Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services cannot be held liable for any actions or omissions which result in problems or complications for anything not disclosed.

6. The Client consents, to give permission to use photographs and or videos of their pet for Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services to use on their social media and website.

7. Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services shall follow instructions given on the Application Form but cannot be held liable for any complications which may arise. In the event of a pet having a contagious illness or disease which has not been disclosed, the Client may be liable for the costs of treatment given to other animals which become infected.

8. Pregnant, or dogs in season may not attend Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services “Pack walks” and will be kept on the lead on “solo walks”.

Where it is necessary for Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services to hold keys to a property, the Client shall provide one of each key needed. Keys will be coded and kept secure. Keys will be returned upon completion of this agreement providing all fees due have been paid.
The Client agrees that, by signing these terms and conditions this will safeguard Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services in full against any liability arising from loss or damage to the property or its contents, in present and future circumstances.
10. The Client agrees to pay Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services by by bank transfer.
All charges are payable immediately upon booking. However, ongoing bookings are payable in advance weekly. Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services will issue invoice for the Client upon request.
The Client agrees to reimburse Paws-A-Minute Dog Walking Services for any additional fees for providing emergency care, as well as any expenses incurred for, without limitation, unexpected visits, transportation, housing, food or supplies on proof of a valid receipt.

11. Cancellation Policy - Any cancelations with less than 7 days notice will be charged in full. Cancellations made with more than 7 days notice require a 50% retainer. This holds your regular slot. If you would like to cancel your regular slot completely, 4 weeks notc=ice must be given.
12. Summer Policy - We will amend our walks where permitted due to the hot weather.
When weather is 25 degrees+ during the day, walks will be moved to the morning. The time of the morning walk will vary depending on the estimated temperature that day. On Sunday's, we will send out a rough idea of what time walks will b each day that week, but are still subject to change due to temperature changes. Walks will be cut short where deemed necessary. Walks will be held in shaded wooded areas and/or areas with water. Drinking water is always available to dogs during walks.
We hold the right to cancel your walks should we think your dogs life could be at risk due to being over weight or being a brachycephalic breed. We will reimburse you for this.
If you decide you would like a Home Visit, a 50%cancellation fee will still apply , plus a home visit charge.

All Dog Walks run between 845am and 4pm. Please understand slot time may vary due to traffic conditions.
